The mother and the kid A mother asks a child to stop watching TV at a certain late time of the day, because the child had earlier on complained about having an eye irritation. However, the show on TV was so interesting to the child, and he thus continued for a couple of hours on. The mother got more concerned, made him some warm drink to prevent him from falling ill, and kept on telling the child to go to bed and rest. The child kept on arguing that it was a saturday night, and that he seldom has free time to spend for his own enjoyment, to which the mother kept on arguing that he was not feeling well and therefore should get some rest before he falls sick. After sometime, the child got fed up with the mother's constant nagging, and he accused her of being "restrictive" and "naggy", upon which she got so fed up and went to bed herself, leaving the child to watch TV on his own, eventually, up to the next morning. Later on, the child got so upset for being left alone and accused her further of being insensitive and not understanding to how he felt. The mother was left shaking her head and uttering under her breath: "kids..." 0 Comments: |
