My supervisor

He said one simple sentence after my presentation last thursday: "Nice piece of work", and it sent me flying to cloud #9.

I guess I've always admired him. Heck, I worship him! He is an awesome scientist. Whenever I talk to him, I can feel that he loves his science, his art. Perhaps that's why his opinions mattered so much to me. I may idolize him too much, but I guess I can't help it when he's so awesome. I think he has reached the level where science is an art to him. To put it in Zen terms, he has reached a high level of enlightenment in science - perhaps he's somewhere between "The Bull Transcended" and "Both Bull and Self Transcended" (although total enlightenment in science only belongs to God, but again, the concept of God is not emphasized in Buddhism, therefore the analogy has its flaws, but anyway...) I think every scientists should be like him. I want to be like him too.
